Ambulance Driver Job Purpose:
An ambulance Driver is an individual specifically employed for driving ambulances, i.e. vehicles which are used to transport patients to and from hospitals and nursing homes. Ambulance drivers may need to transport seriously injured patients to hospitals or they need to reach accident spots as soon as possible. They are also required to carry non-urgent patients, outpatients etc to hospitals, day centers and alike
Driver Job Duties:
- Ascertain that the designated ambulance is kept ready at all times, by fueling it on time and checking oil levels and tire pressure
- Clean and sanitize assigned ambulance from the inside after each haul, by following set sanitation procedures of the facility
- Make sure that all consumable items such as medication and oxygen, along with emergency management equipment is available and ready to use
- Take orders from the dispatcher to rush to scenes of emergencies and map out appropriate routes on either conventional maps, or the GPS
- Carefully but urgently drive the ambulance to the destination, changing routes when necessary
- Assist Paramedic in setting up emergency equipment such as oxygen tanks and defibrillators
- Assist in carrying victims of accidents or unwell people to the awaiting ambulance and gently but securely strap them in
- Drive the ambulance to the designated hospital or facility while keeping the dispatcher aware of the ambulance’s whereabouts
- Assist in disembarking patients from the ambulance and rushing them to emergency rooms
Required Qualifications
Education
- Must have form 4 Certificate
- Must have valid Driving License Class C and above
- Must have Current defensive driving certificate
- Must have current First aid training certificate
Experience
Minimum of 3 year experience working as a driver in well recognized facility

Job Title : Anesthetist
Department: Health and Safety

Job Summary:
Responds to the anesthetic needs of patients and coordinates their care with other perioperative personnel during the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases. Administers anesthesia services to patients for medical and surgical procedures relevant to the facility under the medical direction of staff anesthesiologist. Responds to the emergent airway management within the facility as needed. May be on-call, either in-house or from home, as required by the facility.
Supervisory/Management Responsibilities
This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor or head of department.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Demonstrate TMHS values and Service Pride Standards through actions.
- Perform thorough and complete pre-anesthesia assessments and develops appropriate anesthesia plans.
- Administer anesthesia in accordance with clinical privileges, including induction, maintenanceand emergence.
- Select, obtain and administer anesthetics, adjuvant drugs, accessory drugs and fluids necessary to manage the anesthetic, to maintain the patient`s physiologic homeostasis, and to correct abnormal responses to the anesthesia or surgery
- Monitor, interpret and evaluate on going data as appropriate for the type of anesthetic and specific patient needs.
- Provide expertise in airway management both in and out of the surgical suite
- Place and maintain epidural catheters as adjuncts to anesthesia.
- Place and monitor arterial and central venous catheters including pulmonary artery catheters.
- Document pertinent information on the patient`s medical record.
- Respond to emergency situations by providing airway management, administration of emergency fluids or drugs, or using basic or advanced cardiac life support techniques. 11. Act as investigators, collaborators, consultants, or assistants on research projects as needed.
- May provide clinical and didactic instruction to helping staff available with emphasis on the patient on site or hospital,
- May serve on a variety of institutional committees and participate as instructors in staff development and continuing education programs for both professional and non-professional staff members.
- Other duties as directed by the Head of medical department.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Advanced diploma in anesthesia or above.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of one year experience in preferred, will count residency experience.

- Thorough depth knowledge of pharmacology with emphasis on anesthetic, cardiac and vasoactive drugs.

- Ability to move, manipulate, and safely operate anesthesia equipment during the administration of all types of anesthesia to all sizes of patients

Responsibilities
- This RN delivers and improves care with a collaborative team. Duties and responsibilities are, but not limited, the following:
- Appropriately triage patients and initiate orders from approved protocols.

- Conduct safe and therapeutic care of the patient with epicardial and transvenous pacing.
- Safely participates in the resuscitation of a patient during a code blue and rapid response situation.
- Manages critically ill patients during and after procedures where moderate sedation is needed.
- Transduce pressure lines (Arterial, CVP and PA catheters) and evaluate hemodynamic parameters.
- Cares for patients with an elevated ICP and manages ventriculostomy drains with ICP monitoring.
- Manages patient on Patient Controlled Analgesia.
- Manages patient on ETCO2.
