Position: Delivery Agent
Reporting to ; Branch Sales Lead
Duties and Responsibilities;
- Deliver a wide variety of items to different shops in the routes assigned.
- Keenly verify on products staged for loading against inventory transferred to his/her mobile warehouse
- Take part in inventory loading and unloading in assigned vehicles
- Ensure inventory safety through proper handling and arrangement within the assigned vehicle
- Ensure that the goods loaded are of the quality and quantity ordered by the vendors.
- Meeting delivery targets as set by the line supervisor
- Ask for feedback on provided services and resolve clients’ complaints.
- Collect payments and deposit to the given account by the company
- Inform customers about new products and services offered by Sokowatch.
- Help customers who have difficulties when opening our mobile app or making orders from the mobile app.
- Report to the Dispatch lead whenever the vehicle has a breakdown.
- Ensure that the driver follows road safety and regulations
Requirements;
- Possess good communication and listening skills
- Should be empathetic
- Fluent in Kiswahili or English
- Should own a smartphone and good knowledge of of common mobile devices applications
- Must have a valid certificate of good conduct from the Kenya Police Service or a receipt showing recent application for one.
- Good time keeper
- Respectful
- Be a self-starter, adaptable, and high levels of personal integrity.
- Sales background and possession of driving licence is a plus

- 100% delivery of orders assigned for the day
- At least 25 orders delivered in a day

Position: Branch Bookkeeper
We are searching for stellar Branch Bookkeepers to be based across our various branches. They will undertake all aspects of financial management for the Sokowatch localized branch, including maintaining accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.

Tanzania (Mbeya)
Requirements:
The successful candidate will possess:
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience
- Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration; CPA a plus but not required
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Working knowledge in accounting software use and administration skills, preferably Quickbooks
- An enthusiastic team player and strong interpersonal skills.
- A hands-on learner with integrity and a desire to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, start-up environment.
- Fluency in English (both oral and written) and the ability to communicate with sophistication within a business setting.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Balance and maintain accurate ledgers, match purchase orders with invoices, record office expenses
- Coordinate bank deposits and vendor payments, tally and record cash receipts, report and record accounts payable/receivable
- Auditing and monitoring inventory reports
- Maintain internal control systems
- Assist with monthly audits, reports, and liaison
- Any other duties assigned time to time by County Accountant

Role;To primarily focused on customer service – fulfillment and asset care
Responsibilities;
- Maintain an up to date record of all the assets assigned, mileage on fueling and service, next inspection and insurance dates and new or spare tyre change dates
- Ensure efficiency in fueling process
- Keep track of vehicles, spare parts inventory usage and records of purchases
- Set up maintenance scheduled by ensuring routine maintenance, servicing and minimal uptime during break downs
- Carryout frequent drivers training on road safety measures, defensive driving, fueling requirements and overall vehicles hygiene
- Carry out weekly and end of month spare parts inventory count or any other parts inventory count as may be deemed necessary by the business
- Manages accident reports and provides details based on RCA.
- Assign vehicles to the drivers
- Make sure vehicles are always ready and available to meet orders by scheduling and monitoring current trends in customer coverage
- Ensure vehicles and drivers comply with government regulations
Qualifications
- At least two years of experience in a logistics role,
- Detail-oriented and good problem-solving skills They should have exceptional analytical abilities and organizational skills.
- They need to be knowledgeable in computer applications.
- Valid driving license (added advantage)

The role;
- Lead the logistics function at the branch level from warehouse to stock ordering and delivery to Sokowatch customers
Roles.
- Continuous improvement effort to the LCS SOPs with an aim to:
- Enhance the customer experience journey promoting retention
- Enhance the work experience of the logistics team
- Promote productivity and efficiency
- Eliminate risk
- Primarily focused on inventory management (*commodities and spare parts)
- Follow up on best practices for weekly spot check counts and end moth cross functional inventory count
- Own and drive inventory counts, ensuring for:
- On time and quality inventory audit reporting
- Inventory movements reported are realistic i.e. no fictitious over or under reporting of inventory quantities
- Continuously have a clear line of visibility on OOS, updating the tracker on a real time basis, to give visibility to the LCS Manager for support on the replenishment cycle
- Document and track on a real time basis all price conflicts (where PO value / quantity is not equal to supplier AP invoice value / quantity) thus giving visibility to the LCS
- Document and track all supplier deliveries to provide valuable insights to the LCS Manager for replenishment cycle adjustment / review
- Throttle up any inventory related issues to the business for support where FMCG BU intervention is required or through the LCS Manager for strategic decision / support where necessary
- Adopt and maintain standardised inventory reporting templates across the country
- Analyse branch inventory movement reports and surface analytics to the LCS Manager for ease of decision making e,g.
- Inventory Movement Report with OBs and CBs
- Shrinkage Performance with comprehensible comments
- Slow Moving Inventory as per product, quantity and amounts
- Agent Shorts with exhaustive comments
- Gate keep and surface feedback on the TOP X SKUs product mix performance and off take
- Own, drive and encourage good warehousing practice e.g.
- Bin management
- Visual management – pallets staging area, gangways etc
- 5S
- 1S – Clearing
- 2S – Organizing

Requirements;
- A degree in Logistics / supply chain
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position
- Experience using inventory management systems (ERP or SAP) is an added advantage
- Experience managing a team.
- Attention to details & Good analytical skills
