CLINICAL OFFICERS
Description
o Ensure the implementation and standardization of MSF clinical policies, tools, and hygiene protocols
o Promote and maintain confidentiality regarding all patient cases and records
o Implement diagnose, prescription and prevention procedures that fall under the scope of his/her competencies
o Participate in the planning and supervising, in close coordination with other supervisors, the HR processes (sizing, staff shifts, recruitment, training, evaluation, development and communication) of the team
o Carry out first aid care and treatment according to protocols in case of an emergency
o Record in individual patient’s card and registration books all medical activities
o Participate in data collecting and reporting when required
o Know and implement Patient Therapeutic Education (PTE), i.e. keeping contact with all patients, providing them information regarding their health state and responding to their questions.
o Know and promote the proper application of Post Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) Kit and Sexually Gender Based Violence (SGBV) protocol.

Minimum Educational Qualification: Clinical Medicine Diploma
(NOTE: Those without minimum Clinical Medicine Diploma need not apply)
Experience: Mandatory 2 years of previous experience (previous experience in other NGO’s an asset)
Languages: English/French (fluent, oral & written). Swahili is an asset.

Enrolled Nurse
Description
o Organize and carry out care and treatments according to medical prescriptions, as well as assist them during consultations/ daily rounds and other medical procedures.
o Ensure patients are properly received and installed in the health service.
o Carry-out admission, surveillance and follow-up of patients
o Participate in health education of the patient (and family) when necessary
o Supervise and train nurse-aids, nutritional assistants, cleaners and other related staff under his/her supervision
o Participate in the department-related pharmacy and medical equipment control and maintenance
o Carry-out and supervise administrative procedures and documents
o For ER and OPD nurse, ensure triage of patients in waiting areas, wards or during emergencies,
o Know, promote, implement and follow at all times the universal hygiene standards/ precautions, bio-hazard prevention and infection control, security rules and other protocols and procedures in the medical premises and ensure high standards of hygiene of his/her working environment .
