Job purpose:
The responsibilities include planning and ensuring execution of Division, Business Unit or Product Country sales strategy for the utilities segment, to achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets for products, systems and/or services across Tanzania.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating, planning and implementing sales strategy, and strategic sales and business development initiatives, in alignment with global sales strategy.
- Achieves sales targets in respect of both budgets and sales efficiency.
- Monitoring and providing reports to the Commercial Director on market intelligence.
- Working with the sales team to coordinate sales activities between the business lines and exploit synergies.
- Ensuring achievement of sales volume and product mix targets by setting appropriate price and margin for sales.
- Participating on negotiations of key contracts.
- Identifying and managing potential risks relating to contract agreements across customers/channels
- Leading the development and implementation of the key account plan to include designing the executive relationship strategy and coverage plans, prioritizing the opportunities, identifying a target for each solution element.
- Proposing recovery plans in case of potential order shortfalls.

Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in technology or B. SC degree in Electric or Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in customer relationship building, business development and sales in the utility environment.
- Proven track record of sales of projects in the utility environment.
- Experience in working in Utilities, with a track record of relationships built with the utilities in this region.
- Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external clients
- Business Fluency in English
Sales Representative

Job purpose:
Our Sales Representative Distribution Market is Company’s products success consultant. He/she ensures his customers are able to successfully leverage the most profitable solutions within Elsewedy’ s portfolio of products and services. Sales Representatives (MSRs) is responsible for developing customer relationships and delivering mutually profitable sales activity within the defined territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with utilities and energy industry customers
- Provide on-site consultation and sales expertise
- Achieve profitable sales growth within an assigned territory
- Develop and maintain profitable sales activity through prospecting new customers, penetrating existing accounts, and minimizing lost business
- Calculate margins, negotiate terms, and prepare estimates and bids using Elsewedy’ s pricing models to meet specific customer needs
- Represent, explain, and promote the entire Elsewedy value proposition
- Understand, explain, and implement Elsewedy’s credit policies and terms with customers
- Remain aware of and navigate relevant regional market conditions, product trends, innovation, and competitors’ products and activity
- Document sales funnel activities and utilize enterprise CRM (Salesforce)
- Maintain a collaborative approach across teams and functions to build sales for the region, remain on budget, and maintain efficient costs
- Perform associated administrative duties, such as maintaining accurate sales records, preparing reports, and filing expense reports

Sales Coordinator

Job purpose:
The Sales Coordinator and Business Assistant provides internal support to the Sales Representatives through managing relationships with current or prospective customers, working with the Sales Team on presentations, reporting, data collection, and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage relationships with current and prospective customers through email and /or phone.
- Create and gather presentation materials.
- Act as the main internal point of contact for Sales-related inquiries.
- Report-out status of projects at the sales stage or ‘in the pipeline’.
- Coordinate the preparation of Sales proposals and presentations.
- Filter and forward on qualified leads to assigned Sales Representatives.
- Serve as the liaison between internal departments, the Sales Representative, and the customer.
- Support Sales Representatives on preparing information or coordinating details related to presentations and customer visits.
- Respond to customer questions and requests.
- In addition to the accountabilities listed above, individuals may perform other duties as assigned, including work in other functional areas to cover absences or relief, to equalize peak work periods or otherwise to balance workload.
