Mount Meru University is a fully chattered Private University established under charter of 2002. The University is located in Arusha Ngaramtoni and has other centers in Arusha Town and Mwanza Town. In order to fulfill her functions properly, the University is seeking applications from suitably qualified person to fill the following posts.
1. HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER – 01 POST
i. Area of Specialization: Human Resource Manager
ii. Qualification and Experience:
Master in Human Resource Management with not less than three years experience.
Post graduate in Law.
Mediation and Arbitration is en added advantage.
iii. Duties:
To collect, analyze. tabulate and maintain personnel records and statistics,
To administer recruitment, promotions, remuneration, pensions, leave, terminal benefits and staff location.
To assists in office management, personnel management. industrial relation and staff welfare.
To handle general disciplinary matters for junior staff.
To prepare general manpower planning, training and career developing programs. Administer salaries and other staff remuneration.
To identify manpower needs and proper utilization of human resources.
To review schemes of service and staff regulations. Perform any other assigned duties.
2. ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT-2 POST
Qualification and Experience:
A Bachelor degree in respective area with G.P.A. 3.5 and above.
Duties:
The overall purpose of this job is to provide leadership in the management of the university’s finances by giving direction to and coordinating the operations of the Accounting Function, its processes, Controls and Outputs.
3. SECRETARY – 1 POST
Qualification:
Must have office Management and Human Resources Management Knowledge,
Proven work experience as a secretary or administrative assistant,
Familiarity with office organization,
High degree of multi-tasking and time management capability, excellent written and verbal communication skills in English,
Integrity and professionalism.
Proficiency in MS Office,
Must have DIPLOMA,
Must have experience not less than 5yrs.
4. SECURITY GUARD – 1 POST
Qualification:
Form four Certificate,
Certificate of training from army ranger,
Medical certificate,
Birth certificate,
Not less than three years experience.
